Helmets are highly recommended for all skaters, especially children. Helmets are available to borrow at no charge, toddler to adult large sizes, from the Skate Shop. Please note, there are limited supply of each size.
Skating Aids
Skating aids (plastic assists) are available during drop-in skates. They are intended for use by those new or gaining confidence with skating, or who require the additional support. Please ensure they are being used respectfully and safely. For your safety and that of others, they are not to be used as toys or sleds.
Strollers and Wheelchairs
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted on the ice during drop-in skates. Please ensure wheels are clean of dirt and debris. Individuals in strollers or wheelchairs should be properly buckled in and, if possible, wearing a helmet. Individuals pushing a stroller or wheelchair are expected to wear skates.
